What is a Userlane integration?

A Userlane integration is a simple way to connect your users with the information they need directly from the Userlane Assistant.  Content and knowledge are valuable assets to any organization so to help your users easily and quickly find the information they need, you can leverage our Assistant Search feature by connecting it to your organization's knowledge base or collaboration tool. Our new Integrations page provides a central location for you to easily add, manage, or remove connections as required.

How it works

Once you have set up the integration and enabled the connection for Userlane Search, your users will be able to search for relevant content without leaving your application. Results are displayed along with any matching Userlane content such as Guides and Announcements. Icons help users identify documents and content filters help narrow the search if there are several matching results. 

Your users can view documents in the Search window, continue to use your application as normal, return to the search results view, or perform another search. If they want to keep the preview active while using the application, they can click the minimize icon in the top right of the preview window to pin it to their screen.
