What's new?
We've introduced four new roles to give your team more precise access control. You can now assign the right level of access to each person, whether they manage content, configure technical settings or oversee analytics, without granting broader permissions than needed.

Role details
🌍 Portfolio Owner: full Admin + Portfolio overview
- Everything a standard Admin can do, across all applications
- Exclusive access to the Portfolio Overview page, including application costs and currency settings
- Portfolio Overview is no longer accessible to standard Admins, so use this role for anyone who needs it

📊 Analytics Viewer: read-only analytics access
- Access to all Analytics pages: Overview, Content, HEART metrics, and App Discovery
- Can view the Applications list and Segments (read-only)
- Can generate API keys and access data via public API
- No access to the Editor, content pages, Settings, or Portfolio Overview
Assigned by: Portfolio Owner or Admin
💵 Finance Manager: portfolio-level financial data only
- Can view and edit Portfolio Overview, including cost data and CSV uploads
- Can see the Applications list and App Discovery — but cannot open individual apps
- No access to the Editor, Analytics, or any Settings beyond personal profile
Assigned by: Portfolio Owner
👨💻 Deployment Manager: technical setup, no content access
- Full access to all Settings: SSO, browser extension, snippet setup, integrations, selectors, and URLs
- Can view and manage team members, company users, attributes, and file transfers
- No access to the Editor, Analytics, Guides, or Portfolio Overview
Assigned by: Portfolio Owner or Admin
Changes to current roles
Standard Admins no longer have access to Portfolio Overview, including application cost data. Assign the Portfolio Owner role to anyone in your team who needs this information.
Application-level Moderators and Contributors no longer have access to company-level settings or App Discovery. These are accessible to company-level Moderators.
How to assign the new roles
Go to Team Settings → Team Members to invite new users or update the role of an existing team member. Only the roles you are permitted to assign will appear in the dropdown.
